Appearance: Daedalus was imposingly tall...in ancient Greece. He is 5'11" which is not bad now. He is a Nosferatu, which means that unless he is invisible or using alchemy to temporarily regain his human appearance, he is basically waving at everyone from the bottom of the Uncanny Valley. His skin is chalk white, he has no hair besides eyelashes, his scalp has prominent veins, his nails are pointed and he has overlarge, deformed ears. His voice is deep and resonant, and he has been known to hiss or roar when sufficiently angered. When using his more advanced powers or when sufficiently angered or thirsty, his normally perfectly human grey eyes go blood-clot red. Unlike most vampires, his fangs are a double row of small sharp points, like pirahna teeth, though he usually hides them. His hands can sprout pantherlike claws as needed. For most of his existence he has been used to terrified rejection by almost everyone, making him very shy, with a tendency to hide in shadows, turn invisible and keep to the back of gatherings. In spite of this, he dresses well (in his uniform-like long-coated suit and boots), keeps meticulously clean and appears to have excellent taste in jewelry and accessories. He keeps a locked brown leather medical case with him, like a Victorian doctor.

[The communicator clicks on on audio-only. In the background, listeners can hear the sound of a strong vehicle engine and the occasional thuds and screeches of the cannibals who get in front of it.  A deep, cultured male voice with an American accent speaks up.]
This is Daedalus. I am newly arrived and have procured a large sports utility vehicle. Given the current...invasion...I am seeking trapped individuals for transport until my fuel runs out. [Clearly he hasn't been here long enough to discover that the "invasion" happens every night.]

[Something scrabbles at a window very close by. Tires screech as Daedalus swerves and there is a faint crunch.]
